Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics collection drive

Two of Damon’s Rally Cap Charity’s youngest supporters decided to pay-it-forward in honor of their December birthdays. Kendall (daughter of Damon Owen) and Ella (niece of Damon) hosted a joint skating party on Dec. 18. In lieu of gifts, the girls asked their guests to bring in an item from a list of Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics’ most-needed supplies.

Thanks to the generous support of their party guests, Kendall and Ella collected nearly 100 items. On Dec. 23, the girls delivered their goods to Children’s Mercy, just in time for the families of patients to shop for their children before the holidays.

Damon’s Rally Cap Charity donated $5 for every item donated and presented a check for $500 to the Oncology floor. Thanks, Kendall and Ella for helping make a difference in our community!
