Damon’s Rally Cap Pitch-in for Hope raises record-breaking funds

On Nov. 2, Damon’s Rally Cap held its annual fundraiser, Pitch-in for Hope, at Tiffany Springs Golf Club in Kansas City, Mo. More than 150 attendees – including past Damon’s Rally Cap recipients – enjoyed an evening of fundraising complete with a catered dinner, raffle drawings, a silent auction, photo booth and entertainment by Sound Extreme Entertainment.
During the event, Damon’s Rally Cap Founder Amy Owen-Johnson shared her story and the mission of the charity. She then introduced cancer fighter Colene Homa who talked about her own cancer journey and the importance of charities like Damon’s Rally Cap.

Thanks to the generous donations of business owners around the Metro and friends and family members of Damon’s Rally Cap, the silent auction featured more than 80 items that generated nearly $7,000. In total, the event raised a record-breaking $11,382, which will directly benefit cancer patients and their families.

The success of the event would not have been possible without our event sponsors, volunteers and attendees. Thank you for your continued support in helping those with cancer rally with hope. Mark your calendars for Pitch in for Hope 2020 on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Tiffany Springs Golf Club!
